It is a private university established in 2007 from the Endowment Foundation "Our Children with Leukemia" in 1998 AD.

About the university and majors:

1. It was ranked in 2020 by the “Times Higher Education” in its recent “Impact ranking” in line with the United Nations goals for Sustainable Development. It was ranked in the top 300 universities and the best 600 universities in other criteria. .
2. Approximately 11,000 students study there and more than 18,000 graduates have graduated from it, including 15 foreign students of all levels.
3. There are about 30,000 students in the institutes of önlisans.
4. It employs more than 381 academics in 65 laboratories, in addition to 48 student activity clubs and 17 sports staff.
5. The university has 41 undergraduate majors, 19 Önlisans majors, and two years of higher education institutes.
6. Also, 6 Ph.D. majors, 27 Master's programs with a thesis, and 21 without thesis programs, as it includes many research centers.
7. The university includes 7 colleges, 3 higher institutes, a conservatory, and an institute for higher studies.

10. The university has 15 programs in English; they are all departments of Engineering, and some other departments (not including Medicine).
11. You must study a preparatory year for the English language. If you do not want to study it, you need to get 80/120 in the TOFEL IBT test and 20 in the Writing section, or get 6.5/9 in the IELTS test and no less than 5 in any other skill.
12. And getting B2 level certificate from TOMER is sufficient to avoid studying the preparatory year for the Turkish language.

The University Campus:

The university includes 4 university campuses, they are:

1. Sotloga campus, which is located in the heart of Istanbul and it has almost all colleges.
2. Shishana campus, which is located near the metro and contains the Conservatory and the College of Fine Arts.
3. Levent campus that contains multiple sports facilities, such as: a swimming pool, and various sports fields.
4. Bellerbet campus, where there is also a space belonging to the Institute of Sport and Physical Education.

The University Tuition Fees:

1. The university tuition fees for the Turks for all departments range between about 40,000 Liras, excluding Medicine, and reach 85,000 Liras.
