Sakarya University

It is an official private university accredited by the Turkish Council of Higher Education; thus, recognized locally and internationally.

Sakarya University was established in 1972, under the name of “Sakarya School of Engineering and Architecture,” it was called so until 1982, then it was transformed into Sakarya State Architecture and Engineering Academy ffiliated to Istanbul Technical University.

In 1992, a decision was passed to convert it into an independent public university and it has become Sakarya University.

The university majors and their tuition fees:

1. The university includes 13 faculties, a conservatory, and 5 institutes for postgraduate studies.
2. First, all majors at Sakarya University are in conducted Turkish, except for the English Language Teaching Programme at the Faculty of Education, the Department of Materials Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, and the German language Programme at the Faculty of Arts and Literature.
3. The university provides a preparatory year for the Turkish language at the accredited languages center “Al-Tomer.”
4. The university admission requirements are very simple, as Sakarya University does not require the YOS or SAT certificate, only your high school diploma is sufficient.
5. Postgraduate studies at the university are available in the departments of the Faculty of Education, Engineering, Social Sciences and Health Sciences. The Master's degrees are available, with or without thesis, and PhD degrees are available with thesis.

1. The Faculty of Medicine costs 15,544 Liras.
2. The Faculty of Dentistry costs 5,607 Liras.

The Faculty of Engineering Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Civil Engineering, Metallurgical and Material Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Computer Engineering cost 3,000 Liras for morning classes. The evening classes of the same previous departments cost 4,500 Liras.
4. Environmental Engineering and Communication Systems Engineering cost 1,500 Liras.
5. Geophysics Engineering costs 1,100 Liras.
6. The Faculty of Health Sciences Departments of Nursing and Midwifery cost 2000 Liras.
7. The Departments of the Faculties of Education, Literature, and Arts, such as Basic Education, Special Education, Sciences, Philosophy, Geography, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics cost 850 Liras.
8. The Departments of Psychology, History, German language and Literature, Turkish language and its literature, and biology cost 1100 Lira.
9. The Departments of Psychological Counseling and Guidance cost 2000 Liras.
10. The evening classes of all previous Departments cost 2886 liras.
11. The Departments of Business Administration, Health Management, International Trade, International Relations, Political Science and Accounting cost 2,300 Liras.
12. The tuition fees for Architecture Departments are 3848 Liras
13. The tuition fees for the Faculty of Law are 2,300 Liras.
