Kadir Has University was founded in 1997 by Kadir Has Foundation. The Main Campus Cibali has been preserving the historical and cultural heritage: A Byzantine Cistern dating from the 11th century, an Ottoman Hamam dating from the 16th-17th century,

• Based on the applicant's GPA, the university chooses the appropriate category for the award.

• Kadir Has University offers a relatively small number of full scholarships, which are only accessible for early applications.

Kadir Has University Campuses

Cibali Campus

The old Tekel Cibali Tobacco Factory building houses the Kadir Has Campus. The university made the necessary repairs and put the building back into use in accordance with its original design. The building, which also received the Europa Nostra Award, is situated in a crucial historical region of Istanbul. The Kadir Has Campus, which has an interior usage area of more than 45,000 square metres, includes classrooms, labs, the Khas Information Centre, all of the faculties, an institution, the Rezan Has Museum, the rectorate, and deaneries. Additionally, the main campus and the Kadir Has University School of Foreign Languages are both close by.

Selimpaşa Campus

Selimpaşa Campus is home to Kadir Has Vocational High School. Silivri Selimpaşa is where Kadir Has Vocational High School is situated. Students can expect a routine, serene, nice, and calm working atmosphere at this campus, which contains modern classrooms, a library, a conference room, a gymnasium, and laboratory infrastructure built on 150 acres of land along the Marmara Sea.

Bahçelievler Campus

Previously, the Bahçelievler campus housed a school for foreign languages. The campus at Bahçelievler was relocated to the campus in Balat. The preparatory campus (Yabac School of Languages) has been relocated to the Balat building that is behind the main campus.

Accommodations are available for international students at Kadir Has University. The Kadir Has Residence Hall has separate dorms for men and women.

Library Services

The "Request for New Information and Suggestion" form is available for all collections for members of Kadir Has University, who are also permitted to check out materials for a set amount of time.

Campus Life

Sports Facilities

In the Sports Hall on the Cibali Campus, there is a gym, a studio space, changing facilities for men and women, and a room for sports instructors. In the sports hall, participants can engage in handball, volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, and karate classes.

When it is convenient, students, faculty, and administrative staff use the sports hall.

In the Golden Horn in front of the Cibali Campus, there is a boathouse owned by the shovel team, an outdoor basketball court, and a small open-air football field.
